Please help support us as we compete in our schools Read-A-Thon.  Together our school is hoping to read over 125,000 minutes in 10 days.  We have set big goals for ourselves this year to help our school and we need your help to acheive them.  We both have been working very hard at improving our reading skills and the Read-A-Thon will continue to help us grow those skills and develop a LOVE of reading for the years ahead.

AFA's 2021 Read-a-thon

Instill a love for reading and science!

From February 26 to March 7, our K-6th graders will embark on a Read-a-thon race, where they will read as much as they can in an effort to earn prizes and beat the school-wide goal of 125,000 total minutes.

The Read-a-thon is a greatly anticipated annual event which helps cultivate a love for reading in young students and gives them a fun way to work alongside their peers to exceed goals and build confidence. With a little encouragement from teachers, classmates and supporters like you, it's incredible what children can accomplish! 

In addition to forming lifelong readers, your donation will also help to inspire scientific curiosity and exploration! Funds raised toward our $20,000 goal will bolster our lower school science program with new curriculum, supplies and equipment. Any additional funds may be used to strengthen AFA’s growing music and arts program.
